Rubb’s Supper Club is a small steakhouse with a homegrown feel on River Road, set back from the main road behind a sign that’s easy to miss. Steaks, chicken and fish are seasoned with house-made rubs, and the ribeye is the one to order. Dinner comes with the classic supper club extras: homemade soups like the creamy potato, a salad bar with plenty of toppings, and dinner rolls. Try the corn fritters with honey butter or the stuffed chicken breast with rosemary sauce. The dining room is small, so it can fill up at busy times, and the owner is often around to say hello.
