Our goal
We aim for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is built into the site's own code. We don't use an accessibility overlay or widget.
What we've done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Pages use real headings, lists and landmarks, so screen readers can move around them.
- Text and buttons meet WCAG contrast ratios, and text can be enlarged to 200% without breaking the layout.
- Phone, map and website links say where they go, for example "Call The Keg at (608) 254-7475".
- The contact form has visible labels, and errors are explained next to the field.
- Animations stop if your device is set to reduce motion.
- The cookie choice box can be reached and used by keyboard, and doesn't block the page.
How we checked
On the review date above, pages were tested with automated checks for headings, labels, link names and color contrast, used with a keyboard only, and checked at phone and desktop sizes.
Known limits
- Links to businesses' own websites, Facebook pages and Google Maps go to sites we don't control, and they may not be accessible.
- Deal descriptions come from the businesses, and occasionally use abbreviations we haven't expanded.
Tell us about a barrier
