About The Grateful Shed

The Grateful Shed on the Parkway is an indoor food truck park: several trucks under one roof, a bar pouring local draft beer, and an old Greyhound bus hanging from the rafters. Between the trucks you can get Mexican, barbecue, chicken, burgers, wings, pizza, tacos and milkshakes, so everyone in the group can eat something different. Cousin Eddie’s is known for brisket, like the pulled brisket burger and the Bugatti, a brisket grilled cheese. You order, take a pager, and find a seat inside or out. Midwest bands play live music, and there’s bingo from fall through spring.

Good to know

Vegetarian options:

  • The “Gourmet Grilled Cheese” is the Standout: This is the most frequently praised vegetarian-friendly item. Reviewers often highlight it as “oozing with cheese” and a reliable comfort food choice.
  • Mexican Options are the Most Plentiful: Reviews of the Amigos Dells truck often mention vegetarian-specific dishes like veggie enchiladas, vegetarian fajitas, and guacamole. These are generally rated as having “good quantity” and “fresh flavors.”
  • Standard Bar/Pub Fare: Many vegetarian mentions revolve around sides rather than main courses, specifically cheese curds, giant pretzels, loaded tater tots (ordered without meat), and street corn.
